Canadian Rockies Youth Network
The Canadian Rockies Youth Network (CRYN) fosters a community of youth who care about the land and water; and equips them with the knowledge, skills and tools to bring their voice forward on conservation policy matters.
Since 2019, CRYN has hosted four Canadian Rockies Youth Summits and a variety of eco-action workshops. These events have brought together over 300 youth from as far north as Grande Cache and as far south as the Kainai Reserve to connect, learn, and take action.
Roots to Rivers: The Canadian Rockies Youth Summit
December 13-15
Biogeoscience Institute, Kananaskis
With a focus on water and forest conservation, the Canadian Rockies Youth Summit is a 3-day, 2-night experience that will provide youth with an opportunity to connect with like-minded and passionate youth, deepen their understanding of conservation issues from both a western science and Indigenous knowledge lens, and take part in a conservation advocacy project with the whole network. Youth will walk away with greater confidence, inspiration, knowledge and skills, and a network of support to create change.
Youth ages 15-18 and teachers of grades 10-12 are invited to register for the Summit by December 6th! Check out the Summit Invitation for all of the details and register here.
